Position Summary:
The overall purpose of the RN position is to participate in and oversee the provision of resident care as prescribed by the attending physician, consistent with accepted standards of care and within the scope of RN training and licensure. Incumbent also provides direct resident care, and assigns duties to subordinate LPN’s and/or CNA’s as appropriate.
Position Responsibilities:
- Observes, assesses and reports resident condition/changes, and documentation
- Assists in collection of data relevant to resident assessment and evaluation
- Consults with DON regarding changes in resident condition
- Receives, transcribes, and executes physician’s orders
- Assures implementation of care plans as directed
- Oversees/monitors functions and activities of subordinate staff
- Participates in assigning duties for subordinate staff
- Contributes to assurance of resident care consistent with accepted standards of care and established policy and procedure
- Evaluates staff performance and may initiate appropriate action
- Encourages safety to prevent accidents
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and a current, valid license or registration (RN) in the state of Oklahoma is required
- Nursing experience in a long-term care facility is preferred
- Supervisory experience is desirable
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary
- Functional literacy in English is required

The overall purpose of the certified nurse’s aide (CNA) position is to provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care to residents in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort consistent with company policy.
- Promotes and supports the greatest possible degree of independence for residents
- Advises supervising charge nurse of resident status at beginning and end of shift
- Contributes knowledge of resident conditions/needs to resident care plans
- Assists in the implementation of care plans as directed within the parameters of established policy and procedure
- Observes and reports on resident’s conditions, and documents observations as required
- Promotes safe/clean environment
- Complies with requirements of procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer of residents per established policies and procedures
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting
- Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Assures that equipment is clean and functional
- Attends in-service training programs
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- State certification as a nursing assistant
- Complete familiarity with duties of a certified nursing assistant
- Highly developed observation skills are desirable
- Functional literacy in English is required
- Tolerance, patience, empathy and concern are desirable
Position Summary:
The overall purpose of the housekeeping position is to perform scheduled housekeeping tasks as may be assigned by the housekeeping supervisor. Incumbents may mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, and generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.
Position Responsibilities:
- Using proper chemicals, tools, and equipment, dusts, and cleans, assigned areas including living areas, furniture, fixtures, vents, lavatories, and basins as scheduled
- Using proper chemicals in proper proportions may dust-mop or wet-mop or spot-mop floors, or as necessary, strip, seal, wax, and buff floors.
- Empties trash containers, replaces liners as appropriate and disposes of trash in proper receptacles
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting
- Vacuums and/or shampoos carpet as necessary
- Utilizes proper chemicals/equipment to wash and dry windows
- Reports repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate
- Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
- Physical ability to lift/carry/operate equipment and supplies is necessary
- Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful
- Experience in the use of floor care equipment is helpful
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are needed
